RI COORDINATORS' MISSION 

Mission Statement: To ensure every state school child on the Sunshine Coast, whose parent/carer has consented, has the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith and what it means to have a relationship with God.

CO-ORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Facilitate Access to RI

Build teaching teams from multiple churches to cover all grades (a co-operative Form 1 requirement).

Use approved, non-denominational materials.

Relay instructor vacancies to CREP-SC to help build full teams.  

2.Volunteer Engagement

Promote RI as a local mission opportunity.

Share testimonies to inspire involvement.

Highlight the spiritual and personal growth of volunteers.

3. Team Leadership

Foster unity through regular meetings, prayer, and encouragement.

Mentor new volunteers and ensure they feel supported.

Encourage completion of annual training to maintain compliance and best practice.

4. School Relationship Building

Develop positive relationships with school staff and parents.

Support principals in implementing RI policy.

Ensure timely communication and documentation.
