To support quality Christian RI delivery in Queensland state schools, it is an annual requirement that RI Coordinators facilitate classroom teachers feedback through a review form. 


1. Notify the School

  • Send a courtesy email to the Deputy Principal (or designated RI contact) advising that the annual Religious Instruction (RI) review period occurs at the end of Term 2/start of Term 3.
  • Inform the school that supervising classroom teachers will be asked to complete the review form and return it by a specified date (coordinator to set).


2. Confirm Distribution Method

Indicate your preferred method for distributing the forms. Options include:

  • Email Distribution: Emailing forms to teachers via the Deputy Principal.
  • In-Class Distribution: RI instructors handing out and collecting forms during class.
  • Pigeonhole Distribution: Placing forms in teacher pigeonholes and collecting them from the office by the specified return date.


3. Follow-Up

  • Let the school know that feedback and suggestions will be discussed between the RI Coordinator and the instructing team.
  • Any concerns raised will be addressed by the Coordinator in consultation with the Deputy Principal or RI delegate to ensure appropriate follow-up.


CREP-SC’s Role in the Review Process

  • Support: Assist RI Coordinators in fulfilling the Form 1 requirement on behalf of their school’s Faith Cooperative.
  • Provide Resources: Supply the annual review forms to Coordinators.
  • Maintain Records: Keep a record that the review process has been completed.
  • Note: CREP-SC does not collect or store the completed review forms. Instead, we confirm that the review process has been actioned in accordance with Form 1 and the Training Agreements with churches.
