THE GRAND PROCLAMATION
Hark! A Royal Summons to the Grand Scripture Tourney
Know all men by these presents, that on the morning of Saturday, the twenty-eight day of November, a grand gathering of minds and fellowship shall commence.
By decree of the Council, the doors of the Great Hall shall swing wide at half-past eight o'clock in the morning. Let it be known that the trumpets shall sound, and the contest shall officially kick off from then ninth hour until high noon.
The Challenge of the Day
Gather thy kinsmen, sharpen thy wits, and bind thy house together as one! For this day, we shall engage in a most wondrous and friendly showdown of the mind, a game-show spectacle to answer the ancient question: "How well dost thou know the Holy Writ?". Choose ye now your steadfast companions to form a mighty host beforehand, or tarry until the day itself to join hands with such fair-weather friends as fortune may provide.
